Let yourself fully relax in our Luxurious Lakeside Cabin Accommodation in Shuswap. With lots of amenities and nearby activities. We do our best to make you always content, smiling and satisfied.
The Bear’s Den Shuswap Lake-side Cabin sits on 76′ of waterfront property; with a dock, and a warm southern exposure for sunshine all day long, you are sure to enjoy every moment of your stay. The large deck offers 180 degree views, allowing for morning sunrises, spectacular evening sunsets, and the chance to watch the moon rise and set over the mountains, along with stunning views of Copper Island. As you step inside the front door, you are greeted with views of the lake and an open area that includes a kitchen, cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining area seated towards great views of Copper Island, with a walk-out right on to the large deck.
On the same level, the master bedroom steps out onto the hot tub area and deck, with ample seating and a gas fireplace. The basement of the main cabin is located through a separate entrance on the ground level. Here you will find the recreation room with an entertainment area, bunkbeds, a full bathroom, laundry room, and a large bedroom with beautiful lake views. This basement bedroom walks out to a covered patio area facing the beach, which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee.
Secondly, an adorable, heated bunk house located off of the back deck has two beds inside, as well as its own 2-piece bathroom.
At The Bears Den, there is always plenty of space and activities to enjoy time with your friends and your family. Either playing horseshoes on the lawn, soaking up sunshine on the beach, or keeping warm with the wood pellet burning fireplace in the main cabin, The Bears Den is the Ultimate Location for your Vacation!

Minimum Booking Dates vary depending on Season and Holiday Weekends. The booking form automatically reflects this.
There is a bed linen charge $150 if you do not bring your own. (This applies only to reservations of more than two guests)
Pet charge of $75 for two small animals this will be invoiced to you as an add on if required. We do not allow pets over 50 lbs without prior authorization
Buoy rental available for $150 week. or $25 per day Only one boat allowed and no overnight on the dock
There is a bed linen charge if you do not bring your own (applies to reservations of more than 2 people) / Pet charge will be added after booking along with the linen if needed

The Bears Den was fabulous. Right on the water. Everything was as described. There was nothing this place didn’t have. They have thought of everything. Spotted some wildlife which was amazing. This was our first Airbnb experience and we will hopefully go back here. We only went for 4 days and wish it could have been more.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We had everything we needed and more. Beautiful place.
Barbara was fantastic. She has a few rental places and we look forward to trying out the other ones as she is a wonderful host.
The Bear’s Den is a fabulous vacation destination! We enjoyed a week long girl’s trip and can’t say enough good things about our time spent here. The kitchen is off the charts! Fully stocked with every appliance and utensil you could ever need. And the beds, SO COMFY!
When we weren’t basking in the sun and enjoying the lake, we enjoyed the games room and late night chats in the hot tub.
To our delight we also enjoyed viewing the local wildlife such as deer and a large variety of birds.
Our host Barbara was so pleasant and ensured we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this location.
What a fantastic experience for my young family, I can’t think of one bad thing to say about this listing or our host Barbara. Everything was accurate to the listing, instructions to everything was spot on. We have 4 kids and 2 dogs and all of them had a blast. We left the property just to get supplies and do a small nature walk, and honestly would not have left otherwise. There is no need to look for things to do in town because there is lots to do on the property. Horse shoes to swimming, reading books from the library to kicking it in the hot tub. Tons of space to spread out if you have a big family. Almost too many options for seating, kinda wished it had rained so I could hide under the canopy and watch a lighting storm. The views were perfect, and there is a marina close by to rent boats or seadoos as well. Barb was great to deal with, fast and easy transaction, and very quick responses to any of the questions we had for her. I would 100 percent recommend! Thanks for having us!!

Such a beautiful place! the cabin is cute and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms are each separated from each other making them more private. You do have to go outside and down the stairs to get to the bedroom on the lower level. Each bedroom has a view of the lake including the bunkhouse. The hosts we very responsive and available for anything we needed. Overall we had a fantastic stay!
The Bears Den was beautiful! Such a lovely location right on the lake with a great view. A little disappointing you have to pay $150 extra for linens on top of a cleaning fee but besides that the place itself is cozy. Barbara was very quick to respond to any questions we had and had a very well stocked kitchen. We will recommend this place for sure!
We had a great time relaxing at the bear den. It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday with a few friends. Would definitely love to return again when the weather warms up. Barbara was very quick to respond to any questions we had and she even drop by with a complementary bottle of wine which was totally unexpected. Thank you for being a great host
Beautiful view, cozy and comfortable. Lots of room and a great host! The hot tub has a beautiful view of the lake and was perfect to sit and relax in during the cool nights. Will definitely be coming back (with more people!) in the future.

This cabin is everything you see and more! The views right from the hot tub alone are worth the stay not too mention everything in the surrounding area to explore and enjoy.
